How researchers have adjusted their way of working during COVID-19

07 May 2020

As the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the way we live and work, our researchers have also seen their work affected by this crisis. Each of them face their own specific set of challenges - from interacting with other team members remotely to not being able to run experiments. Fortunately, adaptability and problem-solving are part of any researcher’s skill set.

We have asked two of our grant recipients to provide some insights on how COVID-19 has impacted their project and how they have adjusted. Dr Venessa Chin from Garvan Institute and Dr Oyebola Fasugba from Nursing Research Institute have recorded a short video, respectively from a newly set-up home office and a “social-distancing compliant” desk, to give us an update.
